Ubuntu
Check out Ubuntu Linux for a more secure browsing environment -- for example on MySpace. Download the Desktop Edition of Ubuntu and give it a try.
Ubuntu Desktop Edition will boot from the CD or DVD drive and provide an environment that does not write to your Windows installation.
Keep in mind that you will need a CD-R drive and CD-ROM burning software in order to make an Ubuntu CD on your computer. Alternatively you can have an Ubuntu CD mailed to you for free.
One of our callers also recommends Damn Small Linux, especially for older, slower computers.
