The Wii Remote (affectionately called the "Wiimote") can track virtually any movement and features a simplified interace to attract non-gamers

The Wiimote has several attachments to enhace/adapt to new types of gameplay, houses a speaker for sound effects and rumble and sports a long battery life

Wii online component will work like Nintendo's current DS setup

Wii virtual console will allow you to play all of Nintendo's old games (including NES, SNES, Nintendo 64 and Gamecube games), as well as Sega and Turbografx games.
