Answer: If you want to save energy, sure. But for safety it really isn't necessary. If you do turn it off (by unplugging) make sure to turn it on before you turn on your computer.

Amy, Santa Cruz: On a Macintosh I have been getting alot of SPAM with ".pis" files attached. I get about 10 a day. I just delete them is that enough?
Answer: Yep, that's about all we can do is deleate them. You can also get a SPAM filtering application or email reader and make a rule to delete those types of messages for you.
